This site

Every page here is a static file. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no tracking script, embeds no third-party font and serves no advertising. Nothing on this site reports your visit to us or to anyone else.

Our host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for a short period for security and diagnostics. We do not read them to profile visitors.

When you write to us

The contact links on this site open your own email client. When you write to hello@driftcaught.com we receive your address, your name if you give it, and whatever you put in the message.

We use it to answer you and to quote the work. We keep enquiry email for 24 months so we can pick up a conversation that resumes, then delete it. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share the address.

When you are a customer

Under a plan we handle the material you give us to build and rerun a suite: sample inputs and outputs, prompts or pipeline configuration, logged requests, and the labels your expert applies. Some of that may contain personal data belonging to your users. In that handling you are the controller and we are the processor.

  • We use it only to run the service for you.
  • We do not use it to train a model.
  • We do not share it with another customer, and we do not publish it.
  • We ask you to redact or pseudonymise personal data you do not need us to see.
  • We delete working copies within 30 days of the end of a plan on request.

The suite runs in your stack and inside your tooling, so most of the data stays with you. Where a run calls a model provider, that provider's terms apply to the call, and we will tell you which provider a run uses before it runs.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@driftcaught.com and we reply within 24 hours on business days. If you are in the EU or the UK and you are not satisfied, you can complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If this ever changes, for example because we add analytics, the change appears here with a new date before it takes effect.

This describes the site as built: no analytics, no cookies, email only. Check it against your own processing before you publish it under your name.
